3. Installation

Top Side

If the gateway is placed on the desktop, please skip to step 3.3.

If the gateway is installed on the wall or roof,

3.1 Install mounting kit

According to the actual environment, users can choose

  • screws
    Attach the back side to the wall and use 2-4 screws to secure the kit from the top side
  • 3M double-sided adhesive tape
    Stick the back side to the wall surface

3.2 Install gateway

Connect the gateway to the top side of the kit

3.3 Plug USB-C power cable

The SYS LED and BLE1 LED will light up, indicating successful initialization of the system and Bluetooth.

4. Setup

BGA100 provides a WIFI hotspot and runs a web server for initial setup.

The hotspot SSID is FC-XXXXXX, where XXXXXX is the last 6 hexadecimal digits of gateway AP MAC, and the password is “12345678”.   

The server IP address is 192.168.4.1, and the default user account is admin/000000.

  1. Search the hotspot in your computer, tablet or smartphone and connect to it
  2. Open a web browser,  and login into the server with information above
  3. Update the default password first, and start to setup the gateway

  4. Reset the gateway

5. Test

Test BGA100 with user applications or third party tools.
